  • Analyze quality trends and operational challenges, recommend process improvements, and support reporting, audit preparation, and HIPAA compliance.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience reviewing medical records, clinical documentation, insurance documentation, claims records, prior authorization files, or related healthcare documentation.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare supervision, quality assurance, employee training, or workflow management within the U.S. healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, physician orders, diagnoses, treatment plans, and supporting clinical notes.
  • Experience applying payer requirements, medical necessity criteria, coverage guidelines, or established documentation review standards.
  • Background in quality audits, employee coaching, performance monitoring, training, or process improvement.
  • Ability to manage team workloads, resolve documentation discrepancies, address escalations, and maintain productivity and accuracy standards.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare documentation, claims, or case management systems.
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or relevant healthcare education preferred.

  • Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME) operations, particularly order intake, documentation review, quality assurance, or authorizations.
  • Leadership experience within prior authorization, utilization review support, home health, specialty pharmacy, or healthcare revenue cycle operations.
  • Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payer guidelines, medical necessity requirements, and insurance coverage policies.
  • Experience conducting quality calibration sessions, developing training materials, improving workflows, or utilizing productivity reporting tools.
