Job Description We are looking for an experienced and dependable Produce Team Member to join our team. This position plays an important role in maintaining a fresh and well stocked produce department. This position will require detailed knowledge of fresh produce while maintaining and upholding Westborn Market’s customer service standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Stocks and rotates produce to assure quality and freshness Prepares, trims, cuts, packages, and labels produce as required Receives, inspects, and properly stores produce deliveries Maintains attractive displays and ensures accurate pricing and signage Helps to prioritize daily tasks and maintain productivity during busy periods Operates machinery such as baler and pallet jack to make bales and move pallets Provides excellent customer service Abides by Westborn Market’s time and attendance policy Maintains a clean and organized work area free of hazards Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Must be able to lift minimum 50 pounds Ability to write legibly and read with comprehension at a level where it applies to this position Ability to monitor and maintain quality control standards Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
