Starting Wage: $20.53-$28.23 per hour, depending on experience 

Position Summary

The  Pharmacy Tech 1 (Licensed ) is responsible for assisting the Pharmacist in delivery of comprehensive pharmaceutical care under the supervision of the Pharmacist according to federal and Oregon state laws and departmental regulations.

Qualifications

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent is required

Experience

• Limited or no previous pharmacy experience is required, however, some pharmacy experience or similar job experience is preferred

Licensure/Certifications

• PhT: Licensed Pharmacy Technician by the Oregon Board of Pharmacy is required

Preferred Skills & Abilities

• Basic math skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple functions and to handle stress of busy daily operations
• Manual dexterity
• Able to communicate effectively
• Excellent interpersonal skills to represent departments to the public and internal customers
• Good computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets
• 10-Key proficiency
• Typing at 40 wpm
• General knowledge and understanding of DNV standards if applicable
