What You Will Do This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. * Join an established, stable and well-respected Ob/Gyn Medical Group Practice setting of 5 Physicians and 1 Nurse Midwife * Nice mix of Obstetrics and Gynecology * Practice setting: Inpatient/Outpatient * Great mix of surgical cases * 24/7 Ob Hospitalist coverage * 24/7 Neonatology in house * 24/7 Pediatric Hospitalist coverage * 24/7 Pediatric Intensivist coverage * Ob/Gyn Residency Program * Clinic is attached to hospital in medical office building * Physician will have clinic hours at a partner FQHC in the area * Access to several pediatric Subspecialists * Board Certified/Board Eligible Ob/Gyn * Eligible for state medical license and DEA/Controlled Substance registration *About the Facility* * 131 bed hospital * All beautiful private rooms * Level III NICU/PICU * 3,000 plus births * Integrated referral network * Part of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health system *Why Physicians Choose Ascension* * Physician-led, collaborative culture * Long-term practice stability * National network with local autonomy * Mission-centered care rooted in service What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: * Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. * Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: * Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
