Maintenance Technician

Job Description

A manufacturing company in Macomb County, MI is looking for an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to join their team. This is a direct-hire opportunity with benefits starting Day 1, competitive pay, 401(k), PTO, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC and industrial manufacturing equipment
Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues
Work with PLCs including Fanuc, Siemens, and Mitsubishi
Troubleshoot equipment using multimeters, electrical schematics, and mechanical prints
Work with CNC electrical components including relays, contactors, fuses, transformers, wiring, ProfiBus, and ProfiNet
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic/air logic systems
Perform preventative maintenance to reduce equipment downtime
Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and modifications
Work independently to diagnose equipment failures and get machinery back up and running

Qualifications:

5+ years of CNC maintenance experience
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, and/or Mitsubishi PLCs
Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical prints
Experience using multimeters and other troubleshooting equipment
Knowledge of CNC electrical components and controls
Experience with hydraulic systems
Experience with pneumatic/air logic systems
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
