Job Listing: Licensed Occupational Therapist (Contract) – Home Safe Aging-in-Place Program

Charity Care Group is seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist for our HUD OAHMP-funded Home Safe Aging-in-Place Program in Virginia. The role focuses on direct outreach, assessments, and home modification plans for seniors (62+, low-income), with strict compliance to HUD and Virginia OT regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Weekly community outreach and education (multilingual, LEP accommodations).

  • Conduct home evaluations and develop modification plans.

  • Ensure HUD and Virginia OT regulatory compliance (no subcontracting).

  • 48 Hour Assisgment Booking and Completion Requirement

  • 24-Hour Modification Submision Requirement

Requirements:

  • Active Virginia OT license (no disciplinary actions).

  • 3+ years experience, especially with seniors & HUD-funded programs.

  • Professional liability insurance ($1M per occurrence/$3M aggregate).

  • NBCOT certified and trauma-informed care training preferred.

Contract Period: Immediately– April 1, 2028
