Job Location: ZOOM EXPRESS CAR WASH - WILLOUGHBY HILLS - Willoughby Hills, OH 44902 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Salary Range: $15.00 - $17.00 Hourly Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: Any Job Category: Retail Full‑time and Part‑time positions available. Position Overview This position is tasked with performing the daily operational practices of running the car wash facility and providing excellent customer service. The role involves implementing workflow procedures assigned by the Site Manager, supervising employees during day‑to‑day tasks, providing customer support in escalated situations, and managing the overall workflow of the workplace. Duties and Responsibilities Schedule and coordinate meetings. Conduct employee performance reviews. Develop good customer relationships. Participate in recruitment and dismissal processes. Smooth out problems within the workplace. Address employee and customer concerns. Develop strategies for better workplace efficiency and goal achievement. Email and phone correspondence. Liaise between managers, customers and employees. Provide direction to staff. Monitor spending patterns and budget. Fill in for Site Manager (GM) in times of absence; make executive decisions, hold meetings and provide accountability. Organize shift schedules for team members. Monitor attendance, tardiness and time off. Assign duties to specific employees based on role and skills. Supervise employees and assist with tasks as necessary. Manage employees’ requests and transgressions. Train new and current team members on tasks. Handle customer issues and manage conflicts. Adhere to company policies and health, safety and employment standards. Balance cash drawers and prepare cash deposits. Perform all other duties as requested. Additional Tasks Greet customers courteously and explain available wash services. Take and process wash payments to the satisfaction of customers and the car wash. Clean the facility and ensure everything is kept in the appropriate place and organized. Assist customers in any area concerning the car wash process. Move or direct cars into the express wash tunnel with a pleasant, focused, and competent attitude. Ensure customers remain in neutral, no‑brake, no‑steer while viewing the wash. Smile at customers and give thumbs up after the guest is in neutral with no brakes. Carry out visual inspection of vehicles to confirm their condition before sending them into the wash area. Ensure company policies and safety procedures are adhered to in carrying out given tasks daily. Ensure vacuums are unclogged, trash cans emptied, and hoses properly hung. With a sense of urgency, ensure the right thing is done at the right time with customers, the home office, and teammates. Qualifications Ability to display courteous and professional attitude. Excellent customer service skills to ensure optimum customer satisfaction. Strong ability to work flexible hours, such as evenings and weekends. Ability to work standing over long periods of time. Ability to lift items of moderate weight. Ability to work outdoors and be efficient in all weather conditions. Ability to interact ethically with fellow employees and customers. Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills. Strong ability to handle the physical demands of the job. Ability to follow directions and correctly implement tasks. Safety awareness for wet, hazardous conditions and compliance with safety precautions.
