As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $14.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, stockrooms, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures. Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
