Registered Nurse RN

RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare delivery system in New Jersey, is seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, the RN provides comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care to diverse patient populations across the continuum of care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans. The RN collaborates closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, social workers, and support staff to ensure safe, high-quality, and timely care that reflects RWJBarnabas Health’s commitment to patient‑centric service. Responsibilities include performing thorough patient assessments, administering medications and treatments, monitoring and documenting patient status, responding promptly to changes in condition, and actively participating in multidisciplinary rounds and care conferences. The RN will educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge plans, promoting health literacy, wellness, and adherence to care instructions. This position requires strict adherence to infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards while utilizing clinical judgment, critical thinking, and advanced technology to support optimal outcomes. The RN contributes to quality improvement initiatives, follows evidence‑based protocols, and supports organizational efforts related to patient satisfaction, readmission reduction, and best‑practice implementation.
