Job Description for the Family/Internal Medicine Physician

Personal and Professional Skills for Success for the Family/Internal Medicine Physician


- 2+ years of clinical outpatient experience, post residency

- Current, unrestricted TX State license or eligibility for licensure

- Board certification/eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

- Active registration or eligibility to register with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA)

- Active Medicare/Medicaid enrollment or eligibility to enroll

- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems; Athena preferred
