At Guilmette Henderson, we take on complex, high stakes matters and deliver real results. We are expanding our litigation bench and seeking a seasoned Senior Trial Attorney with the skill, discipline, and courtroom confidence to lead cases from day one.
This role is for attorneys who thrive in the arena. You’ve tried cases. You own your strategy. You fight for clients. And you want to do that work in a collaborative, high-performing trial boutique that values judgment, initiative, and strategic thinking more than billing hours for the sake of it.
No two cases are the same here — we handle complex civil matters across real estate, construction, corporate fraud and financial misconduct, employment disputes, and commercial litigation. We don’t sit on the sidelines; we try cases.
This is an in-office position only (Midtown Atlanta, GA).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead civil cases in Georgia and federal courts
- Manage all phases of litigation — pleadings through verdict and appeal
- Conduct and defend depositions, argue hearings, and serve as first-chair at trial
- Develop case strategy and mentor junior attorneys
- Communicate effectively and proactively with clients
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school (strong academic performance preferred)
- Active Georgia Bar membership
- 7–12 years of civil litigation experience
- Meaningful first-chair trial experience (state and/or federal)
- Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills
- Strong work ethic, strategic vision, and ownership mindset
- Book of business not required
