Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:


Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in the Cardiac Cath Lab/EP department. The role involves supporting cardiac procedures and ensuring patient safety throughout their care journey.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and prepare them for cardiac cath procedures.
• Assist physicians during catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any emergent situations promptly.
• Document all clinical interventions, patient responses, and procedural details accurately.
• Adhere to infection control policies and maintain a sterile environment.
• Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care and recovery protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology setting.
• Strong understanding of cardiac procedures, equipment, and protocols.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
