Key Qualifications:

• Current RN license, valid and in good standing
• Prior experience as a school nurse or similar pediatric/educational environment
• Demonstrated ability to handle medical emergencies and routine procedures within a school setting
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• CPR certification required
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to student care

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day nursing care for students, addressing injuries, illnesses, and managing chronic conditions
• Administer medications and maintain accurate health records
• Communicate with parents, educators, and healthcare providers regarding students’ health needs
• Promote health education and preventative care for students and staff
• Respond promptly and effectively to medical incidents or emergencies on campus
• Support compliance with state health regulations and district policies
