Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering patient care by employing the Nursing Process in line with the state Nurse Practice Act and established hospital policies and procedures. This role demands strong critical thinking abilities, sound scientific judgment, and effective leadership in preparing and planning for the safe delivery of care. Key Responsibilities Utilize the Nursing Process to provide comprehensive patient care. Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in clinical situations. Anticipate and plan for safe delivery of patient care. Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training. Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience. Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel involved in patient care. Position Requirements Current Arizona Registered Nurse license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant nursing specialty. Experience with Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Work Schedule Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. 12-hour shifts with a commitment to working every other weekend. Requires flexibility to float among various departments and multiple locations within the region. Patient Care Ratio The typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 6:1.
