Dietitians & Nutritionist

Responsibilities Coordinate medical records for clinical nutrition; ensure medical records reflect nutritional status of the individuals and meet OMH regulations. Maintain annual completion of assessments and complete individual nutrition notes as established through priority risk of each individual. Attend treatment team meetings and discharge meetings; complete annual assessments and progress notes. Process diet changes; maintain monthly diet list and computer records. When assigned, conduct nutritional groups to clients. Ensure OMH regulations are adhered to for overall nutritional health and safety of the individuals. Perform diet office duties in the absence of the Diet Technician. Make recommendations to the treatment team for maintenance and/or improvement of nutritional status; recommend changes to diet regimen to address nutritional concerns. Minimum qualifications Registered Dietitian Background check requirements Education and license verification; SEL; Completed SCRD background form (must be completed with 28 years of consecutive address history). Exclusion Search Results (i.e. Medicare, Medicaid & SAM); background check results completed by Agency/Company. Vaccination requirements Medical immunization screening (recent PPD, blood work with titers levels, etc.).
