A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Nocturnist candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours. Local Team Collaboration: Become part of a close-knit team of 8 physicians and 2 Advanced Practitioners with the support of a clinical performance nurse and practice coordinator at Meadville Medical Center

Meadville Medical Center is a 235-bed community hospital

Qualifications: MD/DO

Board-certified/eligible in family medicine

Pennsylvania State Medical License or the ability to apply for one

Scheduling: Flexible scheduling is available. Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days off rotation

Key Responsibilities: Deliver full-spectrum care for low-to-moderate acuity patients, from assessment and diagnosis to treatment and consultation

Admit and care for adult and pediatric inpatients

The hospital has a closed ICU. No procedural and code requirements

We work with family medicine residents from the Meadville Medical Center family medicine residency. Family Medicine physicians are eligible to be Core Faculty
