This position serves as a versatile member of the transportation team, filling in on various routes as needed to support business operations, customer service commitments, and driver coverage requirements. The Utility Driver will operate a variety of commercial vehicles and equipment, perform route collections and deliveries, maintain compliance with all DOT regulations, and ensure exceptional service to customers. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring a strong commitment to safe driving practices, operational excellence, and flexibility to adapt to changing business needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to work flexible hours based on seasonality and operational needs.
• Travel throughout assigned regions, pulling a heavy-duty pickup truck with a utility trailer to transport damaged bins to designated repair facilities or scrap yards.
• Assist in company rollouts as needed to deliver new bins to client locations.
• Move equipment to multiple locations as needed.
• Operate manual or electric pallet jack.
• Utilize a pressure washer to rinse bins and containers and leave all client locations clean and free of debris.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
• Previous experience operating tractor-trailer combinations preferred.
• Experience with open-top dump trailers, roll-off, waste hauling, or similar equipment preferred.
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and Hours of Service requirements.
• Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and maneuver up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules and assignments.

Working Conditions

• Frequent entering and exiting of commercial vehicles throughout the workday.
• Exposure to varying weather conditions, outdoor environments, and customer locations.
• Extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight travel when required.
• Ability to work up to 60 hours in a 7-day period or 70 hours in an 8-day period, in accordance with DOT regulations.
