Assistant Door Install TechnicianPrecision Door Service is seeking a dependable and motivated Assistant Door Install Technician to support our installation team. This entry-to-mid-level role is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in the trades. You will assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial garage doors while learning hands-on skills from experienced technicians.Key Responsibilities:Assist lead technicians with installing garage doors, openers, tracks, and hardwareLoad, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipmentSupport troubleshooting and basic repair tasks under supervisionMaintain a clean and safe work environment at job sitesFollow all safety procedures and company guidelinesProvide courteous and professional interaction with customersComplete basic documentation and job reports as neededQualifications:Prior experience in construction, mechanical work, or a related field is a plus but not requiredWillingness to learn and take direction from senior team membersAbility to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical labor (bending, climbing, standing)Basic familiarity with hand and power toolsValid driver's licensePreferred Skills:Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilityStrong work ethic and reliabilityTeam-oriented mindset with good communication skillsInterest in developing a long-term careerCompensation & Benefits:Competitive hourly pay based on experienceOn-the-job training and skill developmentOpportunities for advancement to Lead Technician rolesHealth, dental, and vision benefits (if applicable)Paid time off and holidaysWork Environment:This role involves working in both indoor and outdoor environments, often in varying weather conditions.
