Seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager for a high growth DoW contractor in the Melbourne, FL area.

The Senior Technical Program Manager would be responsible for Works closely with Engineering to manage a development program or a project. May need to intercede with Engineering Management to accomplish objectives. Work outcomes may encompass product development, services or both. Manages and ensures the timely completion of specific, defined technical programs or projects. STEM degree is required.

responsibilities:

• Lead & Support Bids: Participate in and lead bid/proposal activities, ensuring all RFP requirements are met.

• Drive Growth: Coordinate with Business Development to actively identify and pursue new business opportunities.

• Budget Management: Allocate and control contract budgets (labor, materials, travel) and manage material execution.

• Performance Analysis: Perform regular schedule and cost variance analyses (e.g., EVMS) and report program status to senior management.

• Issue Resolution: Develop and execute corrective action plans for any budget or schedule deviations, escalating to senior leadership when necessary.

• Risk Mitigation: Identify, monitor, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle; secure approval before making baseline-altering decisions.

• Contract Negotiations: Prepare for and participate in contract negotiations while ensuring strict adherence to government regulations.

• Regulatory Compliance: Partner with Contracts Administration to ensure all deliverables comply with FAR, company policies, and contract terms.

• Customer Interface: Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer on all contract execution matters.

• Leadership Representation: Represent executive management at program reviews, seminars, and external meetings.

• Team Collaboration: Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to manage project execution and engineering changes.
