This role will enable you to perfect your controls experience while integrating some of the most state-of-the-art robotics and technology available. The innovative solutions we design offer diverse experiences that will strengthen your skills and challenge your abilities.**How You’ll Make an Impact:*** Design, implement, and document controls systems for various types of automated equipment* Troubleshoot robot controllers, ladder logic, electrical control devices, mechanical units, transfer devices and peripheral equipment.* Perform machine power up, debug and programming.* Ensure equipment is designed and programmed to specifications using standard techniques and approach.**Note:** This list of responsibilities is by no means inclusive; however, it is intended to be a guideline for activities.**What You’ll Bring:*** Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, OR an Associate's Degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.* Prior experience with JR Automation or within the automation industry is strongly preferred.* Experience working with one or more of the following: PLCs, HMIs, robotics, mechatronics, motion control systems, vision systems, and/or programming.* Proficiency with CAD tools such as AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks is preferred.* Ability to read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematic drawings.* Willingness and ability to travel 35–50% to customer sites and other JR Automation locations.**Disclaimer:** JR Automation requires candidates to successfully complete a 10-panel drug screen, physical examination, and background check.**Company Overview:**At **JR Automation, A Hitachi Group Company,** we discover potential, reimagine limits, and advance industry.
