Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU - Full Time
MLR is hiring a full-time, permanent Registered Nurse (RN) for a direct-hire opportunity in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at a top healthcare facility located near Paguate, NM!
Key Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN) PACU:
- Deliver exceptional care to post-operative patients recovering from anesthesia, prioritizing their safety and comfort.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts, with no on-call required.
- Monitor patient vitals, manage pain, and check for post-surgical complications.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by physicians.
- Provide education to patients and their families about post-op recovery and home care procedures.
- Keep accurate patient records, following hospital protocols and guidelines.
Registered Nurse (RN) PACU Qualifications:
- Must have an active RN license in New Mexico.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
- ACLS and CPR certifications are mandatory.
- PALS and NRP certifications are desirable.
- Prior experience in PACU, critical care, or a surgical setting is a plus.
