Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2270 per week.

Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• BSN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Cross Country Program - Children’s Hospital Colorado.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 2+ years of pediatric experience, preferably in an inpatient pediatric academic medical center. First-time travelers not accepted. High-flow nasal cannula experience. Chest tube management.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Heated high flow nasal cannula management of bronchiolitis.

Unit Details: Patient population includes GI disorders, endocrine disorders, bariatric/nutritional restoration, infections including sepsis, minimal surgical post-op/procedure care, some chest tube patients, and long-term behavioral health patients.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. On-call: none. Must be available to work 2 of 3 holidays. 4 days or less of total RTO.

Special Requests: RTO blackout dates: 11/25-11/27, 12/23-12/26, 12/30-1/2. No RTO approved during the first two weeks of the assignment.

Floating Requirements: Float to acute care units, NICU, and North/South campuses. May be floated or reassigned to other areas within clinical competency.

4 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 09/06/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027, 01/18/2027, 05/31/2027, 07/04/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 0. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years
