Position Summary

MS Companies is hiring immediately for a Quality Liaison to support automotive manufacturing clients by ensuring quality standards are consistently met across production operations. This role is responsible for monitoring quality performance, supporting issue resolution efforts, and serving as a key point of communication between customer teams, site operations, and internal stakeholders. The Quality Liaison helps drive continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining compliance with customer requirements and production expectations.

Responsibilities

• Support quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within manufacturing and production environments
• Monitor production and quality performance to identify trends, concerns, and opportunities for improvement
• Partner with customer and site teams to address issues impacting quality, productivity, cost, and safety
• Assist with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and implementation of preventative measures
• Provide support for quality processes, inspections, audits, testing, and troubleshooting activities as required
• Communicate quality concerns, project updates, and recommendations clearly to customer and site leadership
• Maintain accurate and timely project documentation, reporting, time entry, and customer activity updates
• Assist in planning and prioritizing project tasks and resource needs to support operational goals
• Promote Lean manufacturing principles and support continuous improvement activities, including Kaizen initiatives where applicable
• Serve as a liaison between customers and operational teams to facilitate issue resolution and maintain strong working relationships
• Support customer satisfaction by responding professionally and effectively to quality-related concerns

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to visually identify defects in color, shape, size, or texture of parts
• Must be able to hear and differentiate sounds in a manufacturing environment
• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the workday for extended periods on concrete floors (up to 10-12 hours)
• Must be able to move within buildings and operational areas, including ascending and descending stairs
• Must be able to reach, turn, stoop, bend, crouch, kneel, and maintain balance to prevent falls
• Must be able to reach overhead and perform repetitive movements
• Must be able to lift, carry, transfer, push, and pull up to 30 lbs.
• Must be able to grasp with both hands and perform fine motor tasks requiring coordination and repetitive motion
• Good hand-eye coordination for inspection and material handling
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures

Qualifications

• Manufacturing, quality, production, or operations experience preferred; automotive industry experience strongly preferred
• Experience supporting quality systems, inspections, audits, process improvement, or operational performance initiatives
• Understanding of production processes, quality standards, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and Kaizen concepts preferred
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English to follow work instructions, complete required documentation, and comply with safety and quality requirements
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation and reporting
• Must be able to travel regionally and support customer sites as needed
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build professional relationships and respond effectively to changing business needs
