Supervisor – 117200 Location: Phoenix, USA – E. Jones Ave. Division: Solutions Time Type: Full Time Position Summary The Quality Supervisor is a visible leadership and development role. This individual is responsible for supporting the quality programs in the warehouse and will report to the site General Manager. The role supports local continuous improvement activities, document controls, and ISO activities while ensuring operation adheres to our corporate mission, vision, and core values and consistently meets client and company expectations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain compliance to international, industry and customer‑specific quality standards. Lead and individually perform analysis of product/service issues to determine root causes. Manage and communicate change control processes to all departments. Coordinate internal and external auditing and maintain the internal quality audit system. Assist in implementation and monitoring of company quality systems including ISO 9001:2008. Assist in the establishment, implementation and evaluation of quality management system metrics. Provide guidance and support for customer service and quality departments in problem solving and improvement opportunities. Manage customer‑driven continual improvement roadmaps. Drive Continuous Improvement Programs at all levels including education of these programs. Develop and conduct training on the quality system and other related topics. Oversee document control; update, create and publish controlled documents, send change notifications to affected parties/departments and follow up on the Quality Management System. Develop and implement administrative systems including record management, traceability, and trend reporting. Supervisory Responsibilities Communicate all problems and questions to site leadership and implement solutions to minimize risk. Follow all safety procedures. Be responsible for all equipment, supplies, documents, and materials related to the job. Follow all DSV policies and procedures. Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations. Communicate with all levels of staff and the public as appropriate to the job. Skills & Abilities Education & Experience: Must have a high school diploma. 3 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment. Prior experience in safety observations/inspections, developing and implementing compliance strategies and plans. Knowledge of safety and health management systems and practices. Preferred: Prior MHE certification / knowledge of basic MHE operation. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations: Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program. Able to pass TSA Security Threat Assessment (STA). Able to pass Transportation Security Training Requirements and recertify annually. Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point). RF Scanners. WMS functions. Basic understanding of WMS. Strong proficiency in basic MS Office applications. Language Skills: English (reading, writing, verbal). Business communication. Mathematical Skills: Basic to intermediate level to verify quantities of product, count inventory, or perform other duties associated with handling, storing and distributing client products. Intermediate as needed for financials/budgeting. Other Skills: Strong attention to detail accuracy and accomplish job tasks in a timely manner. Good organizational and personnel skills. Good communication skills, written and oral. Good leadership, supervision, and planning skills. Able to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends, as required by the operation. Participate in established cross‑training metrics activities with the opportunity to improve knowledge in multiple areas/departments and be able to assist as a back‑up when the need may arise. Must be able to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast‑paced work environment. Minimum Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED is required. Minimum of 2 years of supervisor experience in supply chain/logistics/warehousing. Physical Demands Occasionally: Bending. Frequently: Walking and Standing. Constantly: Sitting. Ability to Lift/Carry and Push/Pull: 1–20 pounds. Reach above shoulder, squat, or kneel. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee rarely is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Compensation For this position, the expected base pay range is $62,000.00 – $66,500.00. Actual compensation will be determined based on job‑related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
