Apply today and take the first step towards a rewarding career as a Dietary Aide with us at Crescent Care.Dietary Aide Duties and ResponsibilitiesServes food in accordance with established portion control proceduresAssists in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and proceduresCleans tables, meat blocks, refrigerators/freezers, etc.Sweeps and mops floors as directedCarries soiled utensils, etc., to wash areaReturns clean utensils to proper storage areasWashes and cleans utensils as directedKeeps work areas clean, dry and free of hazardous equipment, supplies, etc.Sets up meal trays, food carts, dining room, etc., as instructedAssists cook in preparing meals and obtaining food supplies for the following mealAll other duties as assignedDietary Aide Skills and AbilitiesMust be able to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishMust be able to read/understand resident tray cardMust be able to keep up in a fast-paced environmentAbility to learn to load and operate an industrial diswasher within one week.Ability to follow sanitation process and maintain cleanliness standardsDietary Aide Education and ExperienceExperience operating an industrial dishwasher and the sanitation process of the kitchen, preferred.High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.Experience in industrial food production preferred.Prior experience working in a long-term care facility a plus.Physical RequirementsWalking, reaching, bending, lifting, extended sitting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, ability to distinguish smells and temperatures, all with or without the aid of mechanical devices is required.Limited potential for exposure to environmental hazards.
