Automotive General Service Technician

AUTOMOTIVE GENERAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN (GST)

Start your tech career where it actually goes somewhere. Nealey Tire & Auto is a fast-scaling, performance-driven group with five thriving shops in Maryland and more on the way.

Pay: $18–$25 per hour. Hit the productivity target (labor sales of at least 2x your wages for the pay period) and you earn a bonus of $6–$10 for every billed hour that period. ASE certifications raise your base pay, and becoming a Maryland State Inspector adds $2 an hour.

Your Path

• Start: tires, oil services, the Rack Attack inspection, and learning how a high-volume shop runs.
• Grow: hit the productivity target to earn your bonus. The more productive you are, the higher the rate. Pick up ASE certifications on our dime.
• Move up: when your skills and hours are there, you move to flat rate with unlimited hours, like our technicians.
