School Occupational Therapist | Brewer, Maine

Position Details:

• Serve as an OT for K-12 students during July as part of the ESY (summer) program
• Flexible scheduling: work two mornings per week, choosing your preferred days between Tuesday and Thursday
• Engage in meaningful work with children across a range of abilities and grade levels
• Located in a supportive school environment near Brewer, ME

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid state OT licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
• Demonstrated experience or familiarity with pediatric/school-based occupational therapy
• Previous work in a K-12 setting is highly valued
• Understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication, adaptability, and creative problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized occupational therapy interventions and supports to students as determined by IEPs
• Evaluate student progress and adjust plans in collaboration with school staff and families
• Participate in team meetings focused on student needs and goal achievement
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress and services provided
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student development
