Rooftop Loader

Position Purpose Responsible for loading, unloading, transporting and positioning roofing materials to and from residential and commercial rooftops while maintaining high standards for customer service and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks using manual and mechanical methods. Ensure that all safety guidelines and procedures are followed. Facilitate safe and efficient distribution of materials onto flat and sloped roofs as per company safety guidelines. Operate conveyor belt systems (where trained and certified) to transport building materials from flatbed trucks to rooftops. Accurately verify and reconcile material orders. Provide exceptional service to roofing contractors. Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols. Work closely with drivers and other team members to coordinate efficient loading and unloading processes. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Physically fit, capable of lifting heavy items up to 100 lbs and operating machinery. Good balance, comfortable working at significant heights on various roof surfaces. Work primarily outdoors on rooftops, exposure to weather conditions. Safety equipment such as hard hats, safety harnesses, and gloves required. Exposure to loud machinery noise inherent to position. Preferred Qualifications Reliable transportation for commuting. Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Ability to pass criminal and driving background checks, plus pre‑employment drug test. Proficient in written and verbal English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus. Safety awareness and knowledge of OSHA guidelines. Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Availability to work Monday through Friday, potential overtime. Forklift certification preferred. Minimum Education High School Diploma or equivalent.
