Earn more as your skills and productivity grow. This position offers a $35.00/hour flag rate with multiple built-in opportunities to increase your earning potential. GM-certified technicians can earn an additional $1.00 per hour for every GM training category completed, with 12 categories available for a potential $12.00/hour increaseand the dealership pays for all training required to reach those milestones. That means completing all 12 training categories can increase your base flag rate to $47.00 per hour, before productivity incentives or anniversary increases. Technicians are also rewarded for producing at a high level: once you reach 40 flagged hours in a workweek, your pay increases by 5%, with an additional 5% increase for every additional 5 flagged hours. On top of that, your base rate increases by $0.50 per hour every year on your hire-date anniversary, giving experienced technicians a clear path to continually increase their earning potential.

In addition to your regular flag-rate earnings, all flag-rate technicians are eligible for a quarterly bonus when the dealership meets its customer survey score goal, allowing the entire service team to benefit from delivering an outstanding customer experience. Technicians will also participate in the GM Technician Excellence program, providing another avenue to develop technical expertise, demonstrate proficiency, and be recognized for excellence within the GM organization. With a $35/hour starting flag rate, up to $12/hour in GM training incentives, weekly productivity incentives, annual anniversary increases, quarterly survey bonuses, and GM Technician Excellence participation, this position is designed to reward technicians who are productive, continuously develop their skills, and take pride in fixing vehicles correctly the first time. Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• ASE certifications are ideal
• Strong automotive background
• Strong teamwork skills
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
• Must have clean & valid driver's license
