Teaching Associate in Veterinary Anatomy

Role We have vacancies for Grade I (Teaching Associate) colleagues within our teaching group and seek talented individuals to join our friendly team of anatomists. Our skilled team includes scientists, qualified clinicians and allied health professionals (medics, vets, dentists, radiographers, biomedical scientists). As an Anatomy Department we teach across a wide range of programmes, providing instruction in human, comparative and veterinary anatomy to over 1500 undergraduates and 1400 postgraduates. Qualifications and Requirements Passion for anatomy education and a desire to help students develop confidence in their anatomical knowledge and practical skills Experience or a developing interest in teaching human, comparative or veterinary anatomy Relevant expertise from anatomy, biomedical science, medicine, dentistry, veterinary science, radiography, allied health, education or a related field Ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary teaching team Capability to contribute to practical classes, small-group teaching, tutorials, demonstrations, assessment and student support, depending on experience Commitment to inclusive, high-quality teaching across a diverse student community Organised, reliable and communicative with students and colleagues Keenness to develop your teaching portfolio and academic practice with support from experienced colleagues Desire to contribute to a vibrant department with a strong reputation for anatomy education Additional Information Contract type: open ended Work pattern: 35 hours per week Grade: I Salary: £39,906 – £44,746 p.a.
