Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse (RN) - Location not specified. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor and delivery, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes. The nurse will assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support high-risk obstetric cases and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts every third weekend. Can accommodate blocked scheduling depending on current needs.
• Required Qualifications: Nursing (RN) experience of six (6) months to three (3) years; management experience of zero (0) to three (3) years; five-plus (5+) years of direct experience; collaboration, communication (verbal & written), judgment/critical thinking, organizational understanding, planning (organizing, time management), problem solving, quality, reliability, safety and risk management competencies; current NYS RN License; BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross); high-risk OB experience, ability to perform vaginal exams, NRP certification, FM certification, ACLS, BLS.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing; previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting; professional certification in a related nursing specialty; relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC).
• Additional Information:
  • Must be willing to float to post-partum as needed.
  • Must have >= 2 years of experience in labor/delivery or circulating in high-risk obstetric settings.
  • Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) and other unit-specific certifications may be required.
  • The position is open for a start date of 10/12/2026 and end date of 01/09/2027.
