Full-Time Funeral Director - Union, NJ

We need a full-time funeral director to join our staff. After 36 years, someone is retiring. We are family-owned and operated in Union County. We offer excellent salary and benefits. 40 Hour weekly schedule with Thursdays off and every other weekend off 7 holidays with paid overtime for working every other holiday. 10 vacation days the first year, with it available to request 5 days after the first 6 months. 3 personal days Paid evening telephone coverage, minimum 3 nights a week Paid opening 8:00 – 9:00 a.m., 2 - 3 times a week Life insurance 401K match Paid mandated CEUs Excellent salary based on experience: $60K-70K + overtime available Health insurance to be discussed Requirements: Valid NJ funeral directors license Valid driver’s license Perform all aspects of funeral directing that include but are not limited to the following: Good language skills, computer skills and phone manners Ability to make funeral arrangements with attention to detail. Work with families in a compassionate and competent style. Interact with clergy, cemeteries, doctors' offices and other vendors with professionalism.
