Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to understand each patient's physical limitations and needs, allowing for the development of personalized treatment plans.
• Administer specialized therapeutic interventions to address a range of orthopedic issues, focusing on restoring mobility and function.
• Monitor and document progress closely using electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to maintain accurate patient history and treatment outcomes.
• Develop and implement comprehensive fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient goals, which include enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Provide ongoing motivation and support to patients as they advance through their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive and empowering environment.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and streamline treatment processes.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure continued patient progress.
• Promote non-surgical alternatives and educate patients about lifestyle choices that can prevent the recurrence of injuries.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The physical therapist will primarily engage with outpatient clientele facing various conditions, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. Our approach emphasizes patient-centered care, ensuring that rehabilitation experiences are crafted around the unique needs and aspirations of each individual.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program is required.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida (FL) is essential, free of any sanctions or board actions.
• Proficient in the application of a variety of manual therapy techniques and modalities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to foster trusting patient relationships.
• Experience in orthopedic outpatient care with a track record of implementing successful exercise programming.

Preferred Experience

• Proficiency in using EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to document therapy sessions and track patient progress efficiently.
• Continuous engagement with recent advances in physical therapy techniques and methodologies, ensuring the delivery of evidence-based care.
• Previous experience working in a team settings alongside healthcare professionals in a rehabilitation environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
