ICU experience is preferred
Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Current Louisiana Registered Nurse licensure or compact licensure required CPR (BLS) certification required Behavioral De-Escalation Training Required ACLS required PALS preferred CPI -or similar documented training that specializes in the safe management of disruptive and assaultive behavior preferred.Attention to Detail Superior Assessment Skills Ability to remain calm and think in emergency situations Great communication skills Ability to stay focused Physical Stamina Ability to work on a team being a team player Listening Skills Critical Thinking Skills Excellent Organization Skills Compassionate care for patients
