AWS Architect

AWS Architect The AWS Architect designs and governs the cloud infrastructure for the platform on native AWS services. You will build a serverless-first, secure, and cost-effective foundation on AWS, define infrastructure standards, and ensure the platform meets FedRAMP and availability objectives. Key Responsibilities: Design cloud infrastructure using native AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, API Gateway, Aurora, S3, ECS/EKS) Define infrastructure-as-code standards using AWS CDK/CloudFormation Architect for FedRAMP compliance Lead AWS Well-Architected reviews and cost-optimization efforts Design networking, security, and multi-environment strategies Support integration of Amazon Bedrock and agentic AI services Guide capacity planning, resilience, and disaster recovery Physical Demands: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Requirements: Non-Technical Requirements: Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be willing to work a HYRBID Schedule (2 Days) in Reston, VA & client locations in the Washington D.C. area as required. Ability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Clearance Strong communication and presentation skills. Must be able to prioritize and self-start. Required Qualifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional 5+ years of hands-on AWS architecture and delivery Strong infrastructure-as-code experience (CDK/CloudFormation) Experience with high-availability, high-volume systems Preferred Qualifications: FedRAMP experience Serverless and event-driven architecture at scale Amazon Bedrock / agentic AI experience INADEV
