This is a Part-Time day shift opportunity. The primary duty of the HIM Specialist will be deficiency tracking (medical record analysis).Baptist Beaches provides beaches residents with easy access to comprehensive, high-tech medical and surgical care close to home. We offer the only hospital-based, 24-hour emergency service at the beach.As a Health Information Management Specialist, you will be responsible for:This role will perform a variety of tasks: In ROI processing requests for medical information for patient and continued care requestors with proper authorization by consistently following HIPAA guidelines for timely accessIn Scanning retrieving, prepping, and scanning medical information into the electronic medical record, and ensuring data integrity of the scanned documentsIn Deficiency Tracking reviewing all appropriate documents in ED and outpatient encounters for physician completion in the electronic medical record per regulatory guidelines.This Health Information Management Specialist will be located at Baptist Beaches.
