Labor And Delivery Registered Nurse

Seeking experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialized Labor and Delivery care on night shifts. This position offers flexibility with 36 or 48-hour weekly options for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities:

• Manage labor and delivery processes ensuring safe and effective patient care.
• Administer medications, monitor fetal and maternal vital signs, and assist with labor progression.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and support staff to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in medical records.
• Float to similar units as needed, providing adaptable support across the facility.
• Complete onboarding modules and maintain compliance with all certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with pending or active certifications including ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP.
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in fetal monitoring and obstetric procedures.
• Willing to work 4-6 weekend shifts per 6-week scheduling period.
• Able to obtain or have current NM/Compact license prior to start.
• Comply with travel and facility-specific requirements.
