Key Responsibilities\n

  • Lead program planning initiatives and develop effective services that benefit the clinic’s patient population.

  • Maintain consistent communication with physicians and other healthcare professionals to accurately report on patient progress, address needs or concerns, and identify both potential and existing problems affecting patient health.

  • Document clinical interactions and progress in compliance with departmental standards, ensuring that records are accurate, thorough, and timely.

  • Collaborate closely with your healthcare team to create comprehensive treatment and discharge plans based on thorough psychosocial assessments and recognized social work interventions.

  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention to patients, conducting assessments and addressing emotional and behavioral health issues through expert therapeutic techniques.

  • Engage with patients' families and support systems to facilitate continuous communication and strategic discharge planning.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing significant mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and various psychosocial issues. Your role will involve helping clients develop coping strategies, build resilience, and achieve their therapeutic goals. Your empathy and understanding will be vital in building strong therapeutic relationships that foster healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.

  • Possession of an active state LPC licensure is mandatory.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an outpatient mental health setting, showcasing a robust understanding of clinical practices.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in English to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with team members.

  • Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office and telehealth software, to manage client records and conduct virtual sessions.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working with high-risk populations is highly desirable. Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and a background in community health services will enhance your capability in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
