Senior Manager, Strategic Projects Location: LSC-System Office Regular/Temporary: Regular Full/Part Time: Full-Time Job ID: 44624 Purpose and Scope The Senior Manager, Strategic Projects orchestrates and operationalizes special projects for the Division of Finance & Administration, coordinating initiatives, representing the division to internal and external audiences, and overseeing special project deliverables. The role collaborates with LSC stakeholders, including executive leadership, to develop, implement, and assess campus‑ and college‑wide initiatives while handling sensitive or confidential records. Essential Job Functions Plan, develop, and implement process guidance and documents for the reporting area. Advise reporting area and executive staff on process improvements and strategic initiatives. Manage special project and initiative planning and delivery, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including college executives and trustees. Perform detailed research, analysis, and report writing on sensitive or confidential matters. Create and present project plans and reports, tracking progress toward deliverables. Compose communications, documents, and reports in conjunction with AVC Finance & Administration Business Operations. Maintain and optimize division databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility. Analyze project goals, schedule deadlines, and develop action plans to ensure project success. Identify trends, develop insights, and deliver actionable recommendations to drive business decisions. Design queries, flow charts, and reports from PeopleSoft using Microsoft Office. Perform other related duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows applications. Strong decision making, conflict resolution, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent oral and written communication abilities. Strong analytical and initiative skills. Experience handling confidential information autonomously. Attention to accuracy and detail. Ability to prepare and analyze reports. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. High level of customer service orientation. Working knowledge of Power BI. Physical and Work Conditions The work is sedentary, with occasional walking, standing, bending, or carrying of light items. No special physical demands are required. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
