As an Occupational Therapist in our Birth to 3 Program, you'll deliver high-quality, family-centered services through coaching and education, helping children build independence within their everyday routines and environments. We're seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (Wisconsin DSPS) with strong communication skills and a commitment to supporting families. Experience in Early Intervention or with children with special needs is a plus. Start your next chapter in a role where your work truly matters!Essential Functions:Evaluate children referred to the Early Intervention Program using standardized evaluation procedures to determine program eligibilityShare expertise with families and Early Intervention team on needs related to fine motor skills and sensory integrationProvide coaching for family members, other caregivers, and colleagues to promote the child's development and encourage the child's participation in home and community activities and settingsAccept coaching from colleagues when appropriate in order to provide comprehensive support to children and their familiesCollaborate with community agencies and professionals in order to provide timely and seamless services to children and their familiesDevelop and maintain progress reports and documentation in compliance with agency and state regulationsEnsure that families receive accurate information using understandable language in a timely mannerAssist families in transition to other programs by providing information and guidance when appropriateQualificationsMaster's degree in occupational therapy and current licensure through the Wisconsin DSPS requiredStrong judgment, communication skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality requiredExperience working with families of children with special needs preferredKnowledge of the Birth to 3 Program and Part C regulations preferredPrevious occupational therapy experience preferredKeywords: Pediatric Occupational Therapist, Early Intervention, Birth to 3, Family-Centered Care, Developmental Delays, Sensory Integration, Transdisciplinary Team, Parent Coaching, Flexible Schedule, OTREqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
