TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified MICU RN in Falls Church, Virginia, 22042!

Job Title: ICU Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours D/N Rotation Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2+ years License: RN License Certifications: BLS (must be AHA), ACLS Must-Have: Comfortable on a stepdown unit taking up to 3 patients. Description: Looking for an ICU nurse. Must have BLS certification and ACLS certification. We are seeking ICU RNs with at least 2 years of experience. Weekend requirement is 5 shifts every 6 weeks. Holidays will be every other holiday. First to float to other units as needed. 24 beds in the unit. EMR system used is Epic. Patient ratios are 1:3. Floor orientation will last 3 days. Common medication drips include insulin gtts, cardizem, heparin, Lasix, precedex, and low dose pressors. Common types of patients include those with respiratory disease processes, neurological disorders, and chronic illnesses. Scrubs should be navy blue pants and solid navy blue tops or solid white tops. Long sleeve shirts under scrubs must be navy blue or white.
