About the Job Job Title: Elementary School Teaching Assistant (Full or Part Time) Main Purpose: Corvian Community School develops the whole child and seeks to address the cognitive, emotional, social and physical needs of each student. The ultimate goal is to help students develop happy, healthy lives well-equipped for the future. - Assist the teacher in delivering high-quality instruction using a variety of teaching methods, such as lectures, discussions, projects, and multimedia presentations.
- Assist the teacher in assessing student learning through formative and summative assessments.
- Assist the teacher in establishing and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, or related field.
- Previous teaching assistant experience preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and willingness to collaborate with colleagues.
