Associate Veterinarian

An independently owned small animal hospital in Aurora, Colorado is seeking a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join its growing team. With a strong support ratio and an engaged, loyal client base, this is an opportunity to practice personalized care in a well‑equipped and evolving environment. The hospital has been serving the community since 1993 and has grown 20‑30% year‑on‑year despite doing no advertising. Under new ownership since 2023, the clinic completed a full remodel and expansion in early 2025, doubling its space to meet growing demand while preserving its low‑stress, client‑focused atmosphere. Appointments are 15 to 45 minutes depending on the case, with daily schedules tailored to support high‑quality care. The practice sees cats, dogs, and the occasional exotic, and is open to veterinarians who want to expand the caseload to additional species. Doctors are supported by a skilled team of 2‑3 staff per DVM, including long‑standing team members who help maintain the hospital's welcoming and efficient culture. You’ll manage a variety of cases including wellness, internal medicine, and surgery, with full in‑house diagnostics and advanced capabilities such as orthopedic surgery and International Travel Health Certificates. The facility features four exam rooms, digital and dental x‑ray, ultrasound, in‑house lab, and paperless records. The team works collaboratively, and mentoring is available for new graduates.
