Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Ability to adapt interventions to meet varied student needs
• Proficiency in providing both direct services and consultation within an educational environment

Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans with educational objectives in mind
• Deliver occupational therapy services as outlined in students’ IEPs/504 plans
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to evaluate progress and recommend adjustments
• Document services and progress according to school and legal standards
• Offer guidance to teachers and families on strategies to support student participation
• Maintain up-to-date professional knowledge through continuing education
