Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

At Masco Corporation, we provide an outstanding role for a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to become part of our team in Livonia, MI! As a key contributor within our finance department, you will assist in compiling various financial statements, including quarterly 10-Q, annual 10-K, and defined-benefit and defined-contribution financial documents. Reporting directly to the Manager of Financial Reporting, you will also be involved in projects and analyses that advance our company's success. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Work in close partnership with the Supervisor and Manager of Financial Reporting to guarantee adherence to company policies, US GAAP, and SEC requirements Assist in the preparation of quarterly 10-Qs, annual 10-Ks, and related analyses Prepare annual financial statements for defined-benefit and defined-contribution plans Work directly with internal and external auditors to provide necessary analysis and audit documentation Support both international and domestic locations on accounting and reporting issues Assist with complex U.S. GAAP areas, including employee benefits Handle daily and monthly General Ledger responsibilities Engage in special projects, including lean process improvements and HFM enhancements, along with ad hoc analysis and reporting Support implementation plans addressing new accounting developments Essential Qualifications and Skills BS/BA in Accounting and/or Finance, or equivalent experience Certified Public Accountant (CPA) highly preferred 4+ years of relevant work experience in accounting/finance Strong analytical skills with high competence in U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations Excellent interpersonal, organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills Demonstrates professional excellence characterized by effective decision-making and a drive for results Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Self-starter with a keen attention to detail Effective great teammate with a proven ability to handle confidential information and interact with senior financial management Join us at Masco Corporation and be part of a team that values collaboration, inclusion, and outstanding performance!
