Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Step Down/PCU unit. This position requires flexibility in scheduling and a commitment to providing high-quality care in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients with critical needs, ensuring their stability and progress.
• Develop and implement patient care plans based on their unique needs and conditions.
• Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
• Maintain open communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ensure adherence to all healthcare regulations and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a Step Down/PCU unit or similar environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficient in the use of medical monitoring equipment and technology.
• Ability to adapt to changing clinical conditions and patient needs.
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating patient conditions and making appropriate decisions.
