Job Description We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse specializing in Oncology to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient care, advocate for patient wellbeing, and demonstrate robust clinical skills in oncology nursing. Responsibilities Administer chemotherapy and other treatments as prescribed. Provide care for patients requiring blood product transfusions. Perform central line and mediport access and lab draws. Conduct CHG baths and change central line dressings. Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and their families regarding treatment options and care procedures. Required Experience & Certifications & Licensure Active Texas RN License (Temp License is NOT accepted) Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in oncology nursing. Experience with mediports, PICCs, and central lines required. BLS certification is mandatory. Chemotherapy Certification is preferred. Experience with Meditech documentation is preferred.
