Youth Care Worker 3 days ago Requisition ID: 1384 Salary Range: $21.63 To $22.60 Hourly Job Title: Youth Care Worker Department: Location: Foster Family Services Scripps Ranch Reports To: FLSA Status: Salary: Non-Exempt $21.63 - $ 22.60 Position Summary Provides case management assistance through intakes, transportation and provides support in day-to-day functions of the safety wellbeing of the children. Assess relatives and/or sponsors at place of release to ensure their identification. Average travel could range between 5-10 travel events a month. Actively participate in safety and service-related resources development prior to child's discharge. Provide transportation support to assigned case management team. Escort children, verify identification of approved sponsor and release custody of children to approved sponsor. Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of reunification of children. Attending scheduled training related to positions. Provide day-to-day coverage within agency service facility. Adhere to Child Abuse and reporting requirements. Must be relied upon regarding task completion and meeting deadlines without sacrificing accuracy, work quality, or customer service satisfaction. Perform other duties as assigned. Computer Skills Microsoft Office Suite Certificates and Licenses None Preferred Education/ Experience/ Skills Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required. 1+ years' experience working with children and families. Attainment of at least 21 years of age.
