About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief People Officer to play a pivotal role in the strategic leadership of its people and culture agenda. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing a people and culture strategy that aligns with the organization's strategic objectives, particularly in the context of significant changes in the regulatory landscape. This role demands a forward-thinking HR professional with a proven track record in leading and delivering change at an executive level, and the ability to create a high-performing, inclusive, and learning-centric work environment. The Chief People Officer will also be tasked with owning the employee value proposition, championing talent development, and fostering a performance and growth mindset within the organization. Key responsibilities for the Chief People Officer include providing professional HR advice to the Board and leadership, leading the development of a dynamic, people-centric learning culture, and ensuring that HR practices support the organization's transformation and new ways of working. The role requires a leader with strong ethics, values, and behaviors consistent with the organization's vision, culture, and values, and the ability to challenge and improve existing systems and processes. Experience in stakeholder management, particularly with trade unions and employee relations representatives, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a background in the public sector or a similar large organization and be adept at using data analytics to make informed business decisions and ensure compliance with best practices.
