Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) - School

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) for a contracted, school-based placement in Trotwood, OH for the 26/27 school year ! This is a full-time private duty/1:1 role supporting a local K-12 district with nursing services. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Active LPN License in Ohio Current BLS CPR/AED certification Demonstrated competency in the specific skills required for the assigned student including: Pediatric skillset Trach/vent management Seizure management - competent with seizure action plans and rescue medications Tube feedings Pediatric diabetic care Oxygen and airway management Medication administration Catheterization Strong assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently Ability to safely implement physician orders and care plans within LPN scope of practice School-based experience highly preferred WHAT YOU'LL DO Maintain continuous observation of assigned student throughout the school day Support chronic condition management and assist with medical procedures as outlined in care plans Provide first aid and medication administration Document care and communicate with school teams Accompany student during transportation and community-based activities when assigned Report significant status changes to supervising RN and family WHY YOU'LL LOVE WORKING WITH US At The Stepping Stones Group, we know that great outcomes for students start with supported, empowered clinicians.
